Herbal Compendium

Today, we call infusions ‘herbal tea’, even though we know that only one plant, the tea plant (camellia sinensis from the theaceae family) can accurately be called tea. These herbal teas from blossoms, leaves, stems or roots that are simply harvested, dried, cleaned and cut can be consumed for refreshment or enjoyment.

The plants listed here below have been used for centuries, and the characteristics that are attributed to them are based on generations of experience.
